Literature Text

As our grave being dug,
As our hearts being wrung,
The battle in the sirens
Is one that can't be won.

Counting days, escaping fate,
No time left to be irate.

The look in your eyes
Hides the strain in your heart.
Me unable to help,
Rips my countenance apart.

A record, a mission,
An altruistic vision.
Life flashes, no regret.
It's a place where we have met.

We all fall, nonexistent,
Climbing, our value risen.
Days pass by without remorse,
An undiscovered, unique source.

As we find ourselves (broken and beaten)
Our backs against the wall (there is no retreating)
These fates of ours are sealed (adrenaline rushes)
No chance we'll be running.

Fight back!

Picking our days like flowers,
Racing our lives in vain.
Our lives extend every hour,
But you've wasted it all away.

Singularity, abnormality,
Please give in to me,
Just this one thing.

I need to give in,
No more I long to win.
This melting pot of emotion
Just wants to sing...
Just wants to scream...

So scream!

Now though the battle's won,
The war only goes on.
The lingering recession
Is the only sensation.

Unjust causes, made up clauses,
The last thing I want from
You, mother, is land of the free.

I'd be glad to fight for my country.
Just as so to fight for my beliefs.
I'd be happy to help support you,
But please don't make me fight for peace.
Old, old, old
